Underneath you'll find our booking calendar with available dates and prices for private customers. For larger families and groups (over six people) and businesses, we tailor accommodation and packages throughout the year, with separate terms and conditions applying. We have more bed spaces available than what appears in the booking calendar (approximately 30 beds); please contact us at booking@skolo.no. You can find a photo gallery of the entire building under the ROOM tab.
High season or low season?
There's a slight difference in terms during the summer compared to the rest of the year. From June 17th to August 18th, 2024, a minimum of three nights applies, and we offer a 20% discount for week-long stays (seven nights or more). Otherwise, you can book single nights, and if you wish to be on the waiting list for a single night in high season, feel free to contact us at booking@skolo.no; we usually open bookings for individual days in June.
During the low season (September-May), we offer extra good accommodation prices for private individuals (1-6 people) checking in on a Wednesday (pizza night, minimum one night) or Friday (minimum two nights): 40% discount on rooms. This is applicable for the Pizza Package and Weekend Package. You also get a 40% discount for long-term stays of seven nights or more during the low season. Discounts are automatically calculated in the calendar below when you choose a check-in date on a Friday, a Wednesday, or a stay of seven nights or more.

Rooms and facilities
All rooms and apartments come with made beds, towels, quality soap, and cleaning included. You also have access to a kitchen, depending on which unit you choose. The Attic Loft Studio and the Teacher's Room, and the Classroom. The Classroom is the largest unit, and what's special about it is that it offers individual rooms available (double rooms with private bathrooms) and can be rented as a whole for larger groups, with more bed spaces available (up to 16 people with the Large Loft included). If you rent a double room alone, you will share the spacious common area with any guests in the other two rooms. You can find pictures and more details about bed spaces here. We do not have a 24-hour manned reception or daily room cleaning. However, we offer uniqueness, proximity to fantastic nature, and an interior you can enjoy in all weather conditions.
Other terms
Prices, confirmation, and payment
The prices in this booking service apply to private individuals (up to six people) and only when booking directly on www.skolo.no. We reserve the right to errors in the price calendar, and the stay is not confirmed from our side until the reservation request is answered. After sending a reservation request via the form above, you will receive a confirmation email for your stay. The email clearly states that the reservation is confirmed. You will receive an invoice/payment link or an agreement to pay upon arrival, depending on how imminent the stay is. Contact us at booking@skolo.no if you are more than six people or a business, association, school class, etc.
Cancellation terms
If canceled more than 30 days before arrival, 75% of the amount paid will be refunded. If canceled 15-30 days before arrival, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded. If canceled 14 days or less before arrival, no refund will be given, and you must pay the full amount. Ask about partial payment or extension of payment deadline if this is crucial for your booking.
Check in
Check-in from 3 pm (and before 8 pm unless otherwise agreed), checkout no later than 11 am. Especially during the low season, it's important to inform us if the arrival time won't be as indicated when you booked the room (you must choose an arrival time in the booking) - this is because we prefer to meet you personally upon arrival and may not be open every day. Pets: Unfortunately, dogs or other animals are not allowed with us.
Remember travel insurance
We recommend all our guests to have travel insurance and to check in advance the terms that apply in case of illness or other reasons preventing you from traveling. Our cancellation terms apply regardless of the reason. Choose an insurance that gives you the security you personally desire.
